If you are looking for a nice , relaxing, place to stay, this is it. Very clean, comfortable rooms, pleasant staff. Nice pool, hot tub, exercise room. Good breakfast. Free snacks & bottles of water or pop, when you register. We frequent this hotel with my children & their spouses & grandsons. Just a nice place to relax.

Room Tip: Higher floors seem less used.

We had a wonderful experience with our one-night stay at Comfort Suites, Ediboro during the Labour Day long weekend. It is about 1 hour North of Grove City and 15 minutes from Erie. It is perfect for us since its on the way back to Canada and its close to the Millcreek Mall and Peach Square Street shops in Erie. The staff are very nice and welcoming, they even gave us free drinks at check-in and the rooms are just spacious and very clean. The decor is moderm and the bedsheets are so comfortable you wouldn't want to get out of bed. Every room has a single sofa bed. The breakfast selection is excellent and delicious! The pool is on the small side but good enough for a hotel and the jacuzzi is working and is a good size. The garden at the back of the hotel is beautiful and you can see the rolling hills of the once golf course. The price is very reasonable, overall, a very pleasant stay and we will surely be back!

This was hands down the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at! The check in was great we were offered water/drinks on arrival, the employees were great, and very helpful. The breakfast was good, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins, sausage, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice. etc. It was good and FREE!!!! The room was beautiful, it looked brand new, spotless, and was really nice. Hands down if we ever visit Erie again we will stay here, it was about 20 mins south of Erie, but it was a fraction of the overpriced Erie hotels. It was right off of I-79 you could see it from the rd. and it was across from walmart in case you needed it. If you ever are in the Erie area this is a must for a hotel. It's also 10 mins. from Edinboro University.

This is by far one of the nicest cleanest, amentities full Comfort Inn we have stayed in. If you are going to Erie you may want to consider staying here. Hands down winner over Erie Comfort Inn. Erie is a quick trip down I 79 . maybe 20 minutes. The staff was warm and inviting, and knowledgeable. It is rare that a staff is so helpful and genuine. You can see great pride is in their work. Room was pristine. Pool , hot tub inviting and the area was sparkling. There is a patio outside with a beautiful view of the countryside. Breakfast was a step above, the usual boxed , prefab breakfast. . Well worth staying outside of erie.

Room Tip: Wonderful regular suite.....I have to believe the Jacuzzi suites must be just as good. I believe the...

What a wonderful stay at the Comfort Suites in Edinboro, PA. From the moment we set foot in the lobby we felt welcomed and, indeed, comforted! We were offered beverages at the check-in desk and invited to join the gratis manager's cocktail hour and dinner in the dining area/lounge. There was also free popcorn in the lobby each evening, and the second night we found a freezer in the breakfast area that was brought out and contained ice cream sandwiches.
The hotel is immaculately kept and well-appointed. It includes a lovely little indoor pool area with a hot tub and a small work out room. There is also a beautiful veranda out back that overlooks the rolling hills surrounding the area. It has a decidedly Roman or Tuscan feel to it, replete with statues, tables and chairs, and gardens.
Our room was amazingly clean! I am really picky about room cleanliness and this one passed all my tests. There was really nothing to complain about. Our room had a fridge and microwave neatly stored in an attractive cabinet, a flat screen on the wall, a desk and sitting area and a coffee maker.
The bathroom was large and spotless and the beds were very comfortable, with mattresses so clean that they looked brand new.
In the morning we enjoyed a great free breakfast in the lobby. I was impressed by the attention to detail at this Comfort Suites, including the nice street and Edinboro University campus maps that they offered to everyone on the check-in desk on the morning that many of us were moving our kids into their dorms. This care and attention was reflected in the pride of one hotel employee who I met while shopping at the local Wal*Mart. She asked me if I was staying at the "Hotel", and when I told her yes, and how much we were enjoying it, she proceeded to express great pride in the hard work that she and her fellow employees do to keep everything in top shape. Believe me, it shows!
On a side note, if you are looking for a late evening meal, try the Perkins Restaurant down the road. We had remarkable service from a young lady who was also an Edinboro student.
I definitely will stay here again when visiting the college and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a carefree and welcoming hotel stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 206 which had a pretty nice view of the surrounding meadows and little ponds.

I had wanted to stay in Erie, PA, but no hotel received the star remarks that this hotel did, so we decided to venture a little out into the countryside. So glad I did! This hotel is so very clean and the breakfast was delicious! Waffels, egss, biscuits and gravy, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, etc. All included in the price of your room. Also, free drinks at the check-in counter, comfortable beds, cookies in the room along with wireless, a microwave and mini-fridge, a great shower and a wonderful staff. You can even sit outside and overlook the countryside while eating breakfast or drinking tea/coffee. It's really nice. Don't bother staying in Erie, this hotel is comfortable and has it all!

We were looking for a place to stay near Erie, PA but all of the reviews for hotels close to the city were lukewarm. I found several for Comfort Suites Edinboro that were very favorable. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, from the front desk to the housekeepers. The breakfast area was spotless and has a nice outdoor patio. The room was spacious and very clean. Internet access was flawless. The pool was clean and not over-chlorinated. To top it off, it was about $30 less than advertised rates for hotels in the city.
The only drawbacks: 1) Edinboro is approx 17 miles south of Erie and I-90; 2) There are very few dining options in Edinboro.
