My husband and I got married here 6 years ago and have gone back on a few occasions for lunch. We stayed for the evening on our 6th Anniversary and it was still as beautiful as the day we got married, we got a free upgrade to the room we had when we got wed. The rooms speak for themselves the quality is second to none. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and the food was exquisite and the service really good. we got a battlefields tour of the castle the following morning and although we had terrible weather, it was still stunning. We got complimentary glasses of champagne with it being our anniversary. Staff were friendly but very professional at all times. One suggestion would be to add a spa somewhere in the grounds, my husband wouldn't use it but I could spend all weekend at the castle if there was a spa.
will be returning and would recommend.

Stayed for two nights with my 9 yr old son (boys road trip). The location and castle are stunning. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The room was modern and very clean. The restaurant food was excellent and again the service was top class. Great choice at breakfast too. It's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. The true test is would I stay again.....an unreserved Yes.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel just for a mid weed break. To be honest we got a lot more than we expected. The staff were all brilliant, we couldn't fault any of the service. We ate too service and in the restaurant both meals were just perfect. The room was better than expected. Up really do feel like royalty. We stayed in the Radcliffe room which is actually in the castle.
The room was fantastic, the bed was comfortable, there was ample storage and the sauna was just heaven. The only thing I would say is, the room could have done with some air con as it did get warm but we opened the window which wasn't a problem and the bath could be a jacuzzi just to add a little extra spark. Other than that, it's faultless. One tip if you do go, don't park your car under the trees, park next to the castle walls.

Dear Me2u630
Afternoon teas have had such a resurgence in recent times and the Drawing room is such a special room in which to relax and enjoy with friends
