Cute Place for a half of day trip! .. may be less .. it was alright! ..
if you coming from far .. you must plan something else to do after the
Crayola Experience .. is just to small and not that many things to do
over there! .. best part of it .. was The colorful walls and decorations everywhere..
very clean place and the store have good prices! .. we didnt like some of the shows
and also that we have to pay to get more coins for crayons or others items ..
3 floors to see it looks like 1 and half to me .. = ) we will come back may be if we
doing something around in PA .. but not a trip day plan ..
tip: be there when they open .. not that many people.. your kids wont have to make lines..
and everything will be organize .. go after 12 noon .. and you are DONE! .. full many, kids everywhere, lines for everything and everything will be a mess .. lol .. funny but true ..

cool place to be! .. #familyiseverything

enjoy it! ..

My family of 4 (two adults, two children) visited Crayola Experience for the first time. I was nervous because of all the mixed reviews, especially because so many reviews stated how busy it gets and how there's often a long wait time for the activities. We arrived at 10am and headed straight to the 4th floor, which was recommended by many. We had no wait time for anything! I was so happy about this because my 4 year olds are very impatient. We also had no problem staying dry on the 3rd floor. The place was very clean and well kept.

Two negative points that I must make included the price and snobby staff members. $75 for 2 adults and 2 children- to receive 12 tokens total which got us maybe $2 worth in product was not satisfying. The place was cool and fun, but NOT worth $75. Then for some of the activities such as sand art, coloring a t-shirt, puffy paint art, and green screen photos, there was an additional cost- then if you want to go home with a keepsake from the gift shop, that's also a pretty penny.
We encountered some incredibly rude and unhelpful staff (when we encountered any staff at all). On the 4th floor the staff was friendly and where the water attraction was, the guy working was also friendly. Further on the 3rd floor we encountered 2 staff members standing and chatting. When we asked them what there was to do on the floor they lazily told us what there was. They couldn't wait for us to stop asking them questions so they could carry on their conversation about their boyfriends. The lady working the model magic station was VERY nice. In Doodle in the Dark there were instructions stated on the wall to tell a staff member when we were finished with the board so they could come clean it, yet there was NO staff member to be found.

Overall, we had fun at Crayola Experience! Because of the outrageous pricing, we will not return. Glad we had the experience though :)

I would recommend to anyone who has some extra cash they feel like blowing.

We enjoyed our visit to the Crayola Experience. Added bonus, we had discounted tickets, printed out at home, that not only saved us $$ but also we didn't have to wait in line when we arrived. Lots of activites for kids, interactive crayon that mimics your movements, doodle in the dark, melted crayons where you can create your own masterpiece with the "wax", making your own markers and designing and wrapping your own crayons, only a few of our favorites but many more to partake in. Of course, the multi-level play area is a huge hit for kids; however, after only a few minutes, parents who parent will quickly appreciate how easily it can turn into utter chaos with little to no supervision. Luckily, when we visited, it wasn't too crowded and we hit the play area just after lunch and when buses with groups of children were leaving. Unless you don't want modeling clay or to make a marker or two, don't use all your free coins/tokens making crayons at the first station you come to (although I am sure you can buy additional tokens). We found some staff who were very helpful (my daughter was upset because she didn't get the pressed penny design she wanted and an employee stopped, asked why she was upset, talked to her about which fun activities she had gotten to do which averted a meltdown) and then clearly there were some employees who were there for a summer job/simply a paycheck. We parked in the parking garging just across the street and entered the "back" of the building, not a walk at all and very convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the Crayola Experience.

The crayola "factory store" whatever you want to call it is a waste of money. We paid 73 dollars for 3 adults and one child. There are a few things my daughter enjoyed doing but not spectacular by any means. I feel like there should be more excitement involved at this place. For example people dressed up like crayons adding for an exciting experience. After paying the ridiculous fee and being handed a map we were clueless. I really wish we had taken that money and did something more fun. I will never return!!

This is a great place to visit! So many fun things to do for the kids and adults! The constant shrill screaming on the 3rd floor is a bit much to take but that is because the playground in right in the middle of all the crafts!
Love all the creating projects!
