Very upsetting that on a Holiday weekend that the "heated" pool was not heated. The "store" was basically empty and there was not one ice cream cone in the freezer. I blame the management for not preparing properly. We visited Timothy Lake North and their Indoor Water Park was open but with water ice cold. Overall the campground was clean and very nice. Our stay was not so quiet as the next site over were fighting until 1:00AM. I tried to all the "front desk" but got a recording so could not report the incident. We will come back again for another try next year as we like the area but was not happy with this stay.

This was our first trip to a Thousand Trails campground as we are new members. We got there late around 9:30pm. You pick your own site so we had to do this in the dark not knowing the campground made this difficult. Luckily a couple of friendly people that worked for the campground saw us having trouble and helped us to a site.

The overall condition of the campground was average but not horrible as you are camping. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We have a motorhome so we used our own bathroom and shower so I cannot comment on the comfort stations, sorry.

We went for the water park which as members is free if I had to pay for it I would have been pissed off. The water was freezing it was cold inside both slides are going to be closed for the season so it was totally not worth it. My daughter and her friends could not even go in the water. They played in the arcade which was nice and the mini golf was ok as well. You have to pay for your cable which I did not mind but even after paying it did not work and you have to deal directly with the cable company that could not help us so we were without TV.

The campers there are a different story very inconsiderate of other campers. Alot of large parties playing loud latin music (which I don't understand) and making noise which the staff did not seem to do anything about. They did have a ranger patroling the campground which I liked.

We did see deer in our campsite every morning which was nice. Alot of seasonal campers as well but I seem to like them as long as they take care of their sites. There were alot of trailer rentals that were run down which make the park look trashy. They could fix them up and it would dress the park up somewhat.

Overall I probably will not go back to Timothy Lake North I will try the South campground next time. I would like to say that the best part of the camground was the staff very friendly.

As novice campers and first time "Thousand Trails" members, we were very impressed with the whole experience. Clean restrooms/showers, helpfull friendly staff and the guy driving around (ranger) constantly making sure the place runs smooth and always waving at everyone every time he drove by. All hook ups were great and although we didn't use it, WiFi is available for a respectable fee.

It was early in the season but it was so quiet and relaxing! Deer were in our site in the morning. Overall very calming and stress free! It's nice to be able to just sit back and relax not hear traffic and enjoy nature as it is intended.

We have been camping for about 15 years now. This camp ground, Timothy Lake South, was the cleanest one yet. The person at check in was so friendly. She was able to answer questions about the area and all but parked our trailer. We checked in and she said go and pick a site. They do not assign one at check in you can drive around and find the one you want. The people that work here are the nicest people we have met, always waving and stopping to chat. Love this place we will go back there and bring our family and friends.

So we rented what was suppose to be a cabin here for Labor Day. It was basically a trailer made to look like a cabin. The furniture and carpet were stained and it smelled musty as can be. There many privately owned camp grounds squeezed into every available space. So things were noisy. There was a band by the pool Saturday night that was very good and enjoyable, but it was not advertised well so not many people came. I would never go back to this place.

we chose the south campground because the web site said it was better for big rigs. well, it's better in every way. the sites are big, the staff was very nice and helpful, it's gated, the grounds and the pool area are beautiful. we rook a ride to the north campground and there is really no comparison: small sites, very crowded, no security. i can understand the reviews i see.....
