My parents found this new bed and breakfast and reserved four rooms for four of six siblings who would be returning to Forksville. Jackie met us in the sitting room the first night--a late one, almost ten o'clock--with plenty of backstory, hospitality and enthusiasm. The lovely setting area with two large couches made staying up late and talking an instant perk. The breakfast area with stocked fridge and freshly baked cookies felt like a luxurious amenity, not to mention the delicious food we enjoyed each morning.
My husband and I stayed in the Hydrangea Room and its comfort and charm are unparalleled, steeped in the character of the old tourist home, but freshly redone, with new mattresses and beautiful bedding and towels. Sharing a bathroom with the other suite would be the only navigable concern, but the doors lock. The TV, wifi, cell service, and savvy hospitality were splendid. We really enjoyed getting away from it all and waking up there.
