3rd hotel we stopped at in Dubois and only one that apeealed to our group. Desk clerk showed us our room before we booked and explained politely without overselling the amentities (OF WHICH THERE ARE MANY).

The best part was the referral of a place to have dinner called Fort Worth Restaurant - excellent food at an incredible price. Highly recommend!

We arrived to the hotel after a long drive from southern Ontario to friendly staff and an extra-large room (the King George Suite) for our family of five. The hotel is situated in the parking lot of one of the local shopping malls, so for us, it was convenient. We walked to the nearby italian food joint (okay, but kid friendly and resonably priced) and then walked to the mall to do a bit of shopping.

The swimming pool was clean and well maintained. The hot-tub was very small, but I think I saw six people in it at one point! Our room was clean, extra spacious (we paid a little extra for it) and nicely appointed with two air-conditioning units, a bar fridge and a bar sink. I believe this suite is used as a meeting room or hospitality suite because the king-sized bed is a murphy-style bed (a little uncomfortable, but I've slept in much worse) and the bathroom was not a standard hotel room style (no vanity around the basin)

The breakfast area was stocked with the standard three-star food (waffles, eggs, ham, cereals, toast, etc.), the coffee was pretty good and nothing ran out.

Make no mistake, this is a three star hotel, nothing more, nothing less. If you expect three-star amenities, you'll get 'em and you won't be disappointed.

Overall my family and I had a very nice stay. Finding the hotel was very easy, and the exterior was nice and in a safe area. Kind of a dead area, but that's Pennsylvania. Check in was nice. I am a HHonors member and used points, but forgot to print something needed for the free night. The desk clerk said not to worry about it, checked us in, and told me to use the computer to print it before we leave.

As for Amenities, the pool was very nice and relaxing. Super clean. The hot tub was just as clean, relaxing, but quite small. Breakfast is complimentary at all Hampton Inns and was great here, everything was fresh and a good selection.

As for the rooms and the interior corridors of the hotel, OK. It is an older Hampton Inn, so the elevator was really old. The hallways were sort of dull. The room was nice. The flat screen TV was amazing, and everything in the room was clean. The bedding, carpets, wallpaper, curtains, ect were all clean, but old. It was a very drab older look. Functional, yes. Perfect for spending the night, just know its not a newer Hampton Inn.

I have no criticism of this Hampton Inn except that there are no Starbucks in the neighborhood. Outside of that personal wish, I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the hotel, the comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere, fantastic service, wonderful breakfast buffet, and the bonus of having an outdoor seating area. I've stayed at a few Hampton's and this has certainly been one of my favorites.

We went up to Benezette, Pa to watch the Elk. We've changed our primary hotel preference from the Choice Hotels selection to the Hilton hotels. We were not disappointed. We received the same great service and treatment as we have in other Hampton Inns. I've noticed many families with children staying in the Hampton Inns. You just can't beat the overall experience. The Comfort Inn breakfast is mediocre whereas the Hampton goes that extra mile to ensure you receive a quality product. I would recommend this chain to everyone.

This hotel was conveniently located, and our room was quiet and comfortable. However, what stands out the most was our check-in experience and the overall customer service feel (or lack thereof). We arrived on a Saturday afternoon to 2 people at the front desk who barely reacted to my, "Hi, how are you?". We were told our room was not yet ready (it was 1:30pm and we had called ahead to confirm our reservation and accomodations). We then stood at the front desk, watching the 2 people do nothing, as they waited to hear when our room was ready. I tried to strike up a conversation with one of the young ladies, and it was like pulling teeth. Finally we got our room, and we departed to it with a "have a great afternoon" to which they did not even react or reply. On our checkout, 2 other people were working and again, did not react to, "hi, how are you?" or "Thanks so much, and have a great day!". And, there weren't lines of people either time.

So, I might stay here again, if The Holiday Inn was booked again, but my expecations for customer service are next to nothing.

First night of a multiple night stay on our journey out West. Very nice check-in exerience, very friendly staff. Nice room. Hotel looks like it has been recently redone. Very clean, well taken care of. Continental breakfast was usual Hampton Inn fare, very good donuts. Hotel was very quiet despite the fact that it was full. Great beds as usual. Would definitely stay there again.
