I have never written a review but felt the need. Really sorry we tried Poco's "one more time". Been going there off and on over the years since before our daughter was born, who is now 23. Took my son and daughter there this past week since we happen to be in town for an appointment. We wanted to check out the new addition and to see if someone new had taken over the business. Unfortunately, that was not the case and what a mistake. The service and food was terrible once again. (thought maybe the last few visits could have been a fluke, as sometimes an eatery can have an off day). The rice was not cooked, the 7 layer dip was an expensive pile of lettuce, and overall the food was mediocre. We never complained about anything, just mentioned to our server that the rice was not cooked, and he did take that off of our bill. He gave us the wrong check, and we waited a long time to be able to even get his attention to let him know. The manager happen to walk past our table, we stopped him to let him know. He never said one word as he took the wrong check out of my hand and just walked away to give it to our server. The same manager is still there, what a shame as he still has no idea of how to treat customers with respect. I believe his parting word to us as we were leaving was "tootaloo". There was no "thanks for stopping in", or "hope to see you again", nothing. That is just a common courtesy every restaurant manager should use toward a paying customer leaving his restaurant. How ungrateful and unprofessional. Never again.

Have been visiting here on occasion over the years. Though it fell out of our circuit, recently had two opportunities to stop in for lunch on the weekend.

Both times we took a seat at the bar. As it was mid-afternoon, not very crowded. Others have noted, it can get quite busy on the weekends at dinner and happy hour time.

Service was fine at the bar.

Pickle Pickle (fried pickles) always a starter choice, they are great if you've never had them.

Mexican lasagna is a fantastic entree. We also tried the Dean's Wings last time.... really enjoyed this twist on the hot sauce. Adds some sour cream, basil and parmesan cheese to the hot sauce. We used the left over sauce for dipping chips in.

We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night, and sat at the newly installed bar. I had the taco salad with shredded beef, which was very good - just the right amount of food for my dinner. My husband ordered enchiladas, and ate every bit on his plate. The food here is always good - not what I'd call authentic Mexican, but an Americanized version of it, so the flavors are still quite good. There's much more seating her since the renovation, and the bar space is larger and accommodating. And best of all - the chips are warm and you get two types of salsa - yum!

We had great service and great food. The atmosphere is eh, but we had a great time there. The bar was off to the side leaving plenty of room for small or large groups. Very relaxed and family friendly. Our server was awesome keeping up with all our orders and the food was very good. Our party consisted of 11 people; 4 adults and 7 kids.

This is your cheap Mexican meal if that is what you're looking for in a dinner. Low grade food products used both times we have been there.
