Agree with all the other reviews in that there is something for everyone, very eclectic, even the gift shop was really superb. some things just not our style/interest, but other exhibits fabulous. Sadly we arrived a little to late to be able to spend a whole day there. interesting history of the old jail and the property itself. Parking was a joy as we were able to ark right in front. We will be back and make a whole day of it. Lots of outdoor sculptures and gardens to enjoy. A little pricey if you only have an hour or so to visit otherwise it's well worth it..

I couldn't believe that Doylestown was chosen for one of the few exhibitions of the famous Florence Uffizzi Museum artworks. It was no less than exciting to view these famous paintings without having to visit Florence.

This is an amazing place with a wide range of paintings, sculpture, furniture using all types of mediums. The day we were there was the opening of an exhibit featuring living artists from the Philadelphia region. The permanent collection includes Pennsylvania artists as well as nationally prominent artists. There are wood creations by George Nakashima and a beautiful sculpture garden. The museum was recently enlarged and features permanent classroom for the art education on the communities youth . If you are in the area or near it do not miss it.

We had a great visit to the museum, caught a free docent tour, and enjoyed the store. Beautiful grounds and free parking available near the museum.

An incredible large art collection in a great venue with changing exhibits. Been there many times and still continues to attract me.
Housed partially in the old Doylestown jail, it is a must see for Doylestown. Great gift shop too.
