I am a member of the museum thanks to the encouragement of a friend. While I always appreciate the Bucks County artists, the special programs are always wonderful. In addition, they have a nice little cafe for lunch, so you can take a break and relax before continuing to enrich your artistic sensibilities. This is truly a treasure.

We went mainly to see James Michener's office but lingered to enjoy the art. Beautiful grounds and changing exhibits keep this museum fresh and interesting. We particularly liked the "Creative Hand, Discerning Heart" exhibit (Rachel Bliss - our personal favorite) and the political cartoons of Tony Auth. Don't miss the sculpture garden tucked behind a long passageway. We also enjoyed a very tasty sandwich at the teeny snack bar. Gift shop had lots of interesting and fun products. Wish we lived closer to enjoy the lectures.

I go there all the time as I live nearby but the Exhibit from the Uffizzi Gallery of the Angels was worth a trip twice.... but almost anytime is worth a visit
