This is a very unique collections of things I had never seen in person-Conestoga Wagons, recreations of old rooms. For someone who likes tools, artifacts etc., it is a must

What was once the local prison has been turned into a world class museum thanks to a lot of help from James and Marie Michener. You will be hard pressed to find a better museum, especially in a small town of about 10,000 people. Michener was born in "Doylestown and he contributed greatly to the reformation of the prison.

I visited this museum recently primarily because it contained briefly an exhibit of Italian painting. Usually the artwork is limited to artists of bucks county, PA.
