“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

Food was very good, plenty of things to choose from. Being a picky eater I did not have a problem with anything. Service was ok, seemed like a lot of staff with nothing to do and had to wait to be seated when no line. But other than that good food and would stop by again.

“Exceptional Food in Pa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013

When traveling on Route 15 in Dillsburg Pa. If the hungries hit. Bakers Restaurant is a good place to get filled up. Newly remodeled over the last few years they now seat 219 hungry folks. Service is fast and friendly and servers are ready to help make suggestions from the large menu. They are open 24 hours for that late nite crowd of the early riser.Breakfast is great and if you want a salad, they are huge. All meals come out piping hot and are plentiful. If you are ready for dessert , the selection is large and wonderful. You won't be sad if you stop here on the way thru Pa. You will be ready to stop on your return trip.

“Wide variety, good service, comfortable atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013 via mobile

Stopped for dinner tonight. Enjoyed tasty meatloaf with good homemade mashed potatoes, sweet peppered cabbage (similar to slaw), dinner salad and dinner rolls. Service was genuinely friendly. The facility is newly remodeled and expanded.

“Good service, Large selection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

Bakers diner has a great selection of food, including many central PA LOCAL FAVORITES.
They have remodeled over the years...to expand, and update.
Friendly staff, good service.
Easy to find on Rt. 15, just past Rt. 74

“Just had the blueberry pie, no other food.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

I don't splurge on dessert very often because of the fat and calorie "cost". But I felt like treating myself last week so I stopped by. Bakers has a reputation for being a comfy, home-town diner kind of a place. The spot you expect to have good pie.
I ordered blueberry pie ala mode. The pie pastry was very thick and very heavy. Nothing flaky at all. And the blueberry filling seemed to be straight from a tin can consisting of sweet yet tasteless filler in which a few blueberries were suspended.
The ice cream was OK.
