We visited Sycamore Grille and signed up for their offers. My birthday is in May so we returned to Sycamore during my birthday month. We presented our birthday "free entre'" coupon in May and were told we could not use it because it was a holiday (Mothers' Day.) So we returned with another couple, we live 70 miles away and don't get to Water Gap often. We told the server we have the coupon and she told us it's not a "free entre" but we would get $20 off the bill. Okay. We texted the number on the coupon and received a text message back to enjoy our meal and take an additional $5 off by showing the server the text. At the end of the meal, which included several appetizers, dinners, drinks and dessert, we presented the coupon and we were told we had to use it in May! And that it's expired. We asked to speak to SUE the manager, who was in our face and said that if we had called her at the end of May she may have extended the offer a week or two, but "It says right here..expires May 31" The script was so small you would need a magnifying glass to see it. After going back and forth, Sue said she had to answer to a higher power and, as manager, did not have the authority to waive the expiration date - contrary to the phone call line. Finally, she gave us 1/2 off the coupon and said she'd have some explaining to do. Hopefully she can explain this complaint.
