The atmosphere was very nice, the drinks were delicious, the lobster tail was excellent and the service was great. Can't wait to see it in the summer as there was a beautiful waterfall across from the parking lot - but in February it was too cold to stay outside.

Spent a pleasant Pre-Thanksgiving family lunch at Stony Creek Inn. The food at lunch encompasses soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers. There is a little something for everyone. The portions are a very generous size. The chef salad in particular is huge, First cut fries are good too. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced. We will return for dinner sometime as we were very pleased with the food and service.

Enjoy eating at the bar, great bartender, the bacon-wrapped scallops are the best! Nice outside dining on the deck in season, next to the water.

The deck at Stoney Creek has an awesome view of a waterfall/dam area on Stoney Creek. The food is really good; I love their crabcakes and fettuccini alfredo with chicken. Both items make you wonder what their secret ingredient is. The "bar menu" is much less expensive, of course, than their regular dining menu. Even when we sit inside, my husband loves to get the cheese steak sub from the bar menu. He claims it is the best he has ever eaten. The indoor dining area is rather noisy, however I think this is due to the fact that the floors are now tiled and some of the walls are stone. Don't let this discourage you from going, just thought it was worth mentioning. If you are travelling with children, i would recommend saving your trip for a night on the deck. Service is sometimes great, sometimes just okay...but I find in this area that is what you are up against no matter where you go. Either way, the food is worth the trip. I have had delicious meals every time I went. Enjoy!

Food used to better and the prices seem higher and the portions smaller. If your going to raise the $, at least keep the portions the same size. THe dining area is too dim lit to the point you almost need a flashlight, and the seating is cramped compared to in the past. I think the changes, are not an improvement.

Best time to eat there is Mon-Friday. On the weekends the attention to dinner prep.
is rushed, and the steaks tenderness can be hit or miss.
