“A Hidden Jem!”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

The place is not much to look at, in fact if your not looking for it, you'll miss it! It's only open until 1pm or so and closed on Sundays.
But if you are Hungry for a GREAT breakfast, this is the place! We go just about every Saturday morning. They always have a few newspapers to read while you wait, and coloring books for the kids, but it is never long for anything.
The ladies that server and cook are the best around. Your coffee cup is always full, the pancakes, sausage, eggs, omlets, french toast, you name it, its so good!
The price is unbeliveable cheap for the portions you get. If you haven't been here, you are missing out on something special (they have been in Danville since 1930's!) and some wonderful cooking! Stop by and meet some wonderful people.

This place is just what you'd expect from a Mom and Pop diner. Good portion sizes. I never left hungry. Coffee is always full. and they even make me a special breakfast sandwich with the biggest sausage patty around... Not a 5 star place but then again they are not trying to be... friendly people, local atmosphere, great staff... And a long history of satisfying the local hunger pains for generations... what else can you say...
