Close to Super 8 hotel. Didn't really dislike anything. We stopped for a quick breakfast. Had eggs, bacon, whole wheat toast and coffee and a bagle.

“Plain Dutch”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

We thought it would be more "gemuetlich , to English speaking folks "cosy and inviting" Looked a bit sad and uncared for. Food was unappetizing. The apple dumpling saved the meal. The service was inattentive. Won't go back again

“Unorganized service, food ranged from excellent to awful.”
Reviewed July 26, 2012 via mobile

Went with a large family for dinner after a day at amusement park. The staff was friendly, but service horribly unorganized. Most orders were missing at least one this, my order was forgotten all together and then wrong when I finally received it as my family ordered dessert. Pot roast was so dry it could not be cut with a knife, however the friend chicken was excellent. Spaghetti was way overcooked and not eaten, even by the kids. Definitely would not return.

“Food's good value for your money”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

Like the food as always but there seems to be a large amount of flies in the dining area. They were there the last time we ate there and it does detract from your dining experience. Waitstaff were very nice and kitchen accommodates customizing menu items.

“Best Shepard Pie and Ham and Bean Soup”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

I want to say one thing without argument. This is the very best Ham and Bean Soup I have ever eaten. Although it is summer and 100 degrees outside, this soup is still good. As a business traveler, restaurants are pretty much all the same. This is a diamond in the rough, a real gem. I had the best Shepard Pie here recently also. In addtion to that, the service is top notch. If you are in the area, skip Friendlys and McDonalds and stop there. I firmly believe you will not be disappointed.
