Have stayed here several times over the past nine years and we have always been happy with the stay. Clean rooms and hallways. Comfy beds. Decent TV. Not far from Knoebel's. Easy access to I-80. Breakfast is basic, but kids loved it. If the Hampton buffet is not for you, there is a decent restaurant across the street that discounts 10% for hotel guests.

With two young kids, we did not want to chance staying in a "questionable" hotel. So we went with the Hampton Inn, and we were definately not disapointed. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. We enjoyed having the fridge and microwave in the room, and a coffee maker. The beds were comfortable and plenty of space to put luggage. They were able to get a room right next to my sister too. The kids loved the dip in the pool after a long day at Knoebels Park, which it was only a 15 minute drive from there. The parents enjoyed the large jacuzzi too. I got to use the free computer to check my email, and there was coffee, juice and tea, and cookies all the time. The free breakfast buffet was clean and nice, and had a lot of hot foods too, with a big flat screen TV playing the news. They also gave us $4 off ride all day coupons for Knoebels which brought my sons admission down to $15! We ate at the Dutch Cafe accross the street and got 10% off our meals for staying at the Hampton. We will be coming back next summer to Knoebels and we will definately be staying here. It was definately worth the price!

We were very pleased with our recent 2-night stay at this hotel. The entire hotel was clean and neat. The indoor pool was a great amenity for the kids. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous and included both hot foods (french toast sticks, eggs, sausage, biscuits) and then standard continental breakfast fare (muffins, bagels, toast, fruit salad, cereal, yogurt, danish, etc.). The breakfast room was a great place to sit in the evening as well to watch the kids in the pool and have a cup of coffee or tea and relax. The room was as expected with 2 queen beds and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. The room included an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, microwave, small refrigerator, high-speed wireless internet access, cable TV, and coffee maker. Hallways had ice machines and vending machines with food and drink items. My only complaint would be the pillows were all very soft and no firm pillows were available. Otherwise we paid the AAA rate of $107/night and the hotel was absolutely worth it. There is a McDonald's nearby that can easily be walked to and then across the main road was a Friendly's and a local family-style restaurant. We would highly recommend this hotel and we definitely stay again in the future.

The people at this hotel are just sweet as pie. We had an issue with our room. It was a non-smoking room but someone had smoked in it and it was stinky. The staff did everything they could to get the smell out. We had a queen special room, kind of like a suite. They only have 2 of these rooms so we had to keep that specific room. They ended up giving us a night for free for the hassle of the smokey smell. The breakfast is great and the early morning staff are happy even at 6 am. The hotel is clean!!! The indoor pool was a bit chilly but the huge hot tub was perfect. We stayed here to visit knoebels grove amusement park. It is only 10 miles to the park. Great location off highway 80. Also, there is an amazing chinese/sushi place that delivers to the hotel FAST. We ordered from there two of our three nights. It was good stuff!!!

I booked this hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews, but had pretty low expectations based on previous Hampton Inn stays. This was the nicest Hampton ever! Room was larger than any other Hampton I've stayed at, the free continental breakfast was better than most hotels of this class, fitness room was good, pool was clean. Kids loved the chocolate chip cookies available in the breakfast area the night we checked in. I paid $146 (including taxes) with an AAA rate, which was a good value. We were in the area to visit the Knoebel's amusement park and it was conveniently located. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a Hampton, can't go wrong.

The King Study is not as big as you would expect, but good. Nice to have a fridge, micro, sofabed and King - the basics but a bit tight.

The breakfast is decent and no options in walking distance. Could be improved, but it is as expected, the normal Hampton breakfast so they are meeting the basic requirements.

Good price and the absolute best in town I am sure.

Indoor pool, and friendly staff.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We'd come to Danville for our son's appt at Geisinger Med Center, and were very pleased to find our hotel to be clean, comfortable and the staff courteous.

Our room, with two double beds was not very spacious, but had enough room to make us comfortable for our stay. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The microwave, mini-fridge, and high speed internet were appreciated and the free breakfast was a bonus, especially the fact that it included hot chocolate-a treat for our little guy and his non-coffee drinking Mom!

We didn't use the indoor pool or whirlpool.

We will be ffacing a return trip to Danville and Geisinger, and our trip will keep us a few days longer than before, and though there are other hotels in the area, even one closer to Geisinger, we wouldn't stay anywhere else than this Hampton Inn. (Which is only a short 3 miles from Geisinger anyway!) We love it!
