My wife and I stayed in one of the guest rooms for our holiday getaway. We were amazed how clean the hotels and the rooms were. The hotel has a vintage style which is unique, but it is very clean. The staff was very friendly as well. We highly recommend and will stay here again.

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with us on Tripadvisor.
We are very happy to hear about your pleasant stay and hope to see you in spring or summer again. This is a beautiful time of the year in the Poconos. A great opportunity to experience the nature and outdoor activities....such as biking, hiking, white water rafting or just relax by our outdoor pool.

All the best,

The Management team at the Crescent Lodge

If your going to this hotel/resort with GROUPON then I believe it is worth it. If your paying the normal rack rate and the normal hotel rates of nearly $400 then its not worth your money. My girlfriend and I went for two nights on a little getaway and it didn't disappoint but there is just something missing. People around the area are a little strange and weird but the overall location and hotel is nice, I just expected to be much more secluded and away from the hotel and street. My point is that its not as much as a getaway and "experience" as they let on.

We were in the area and wanted to check this out for future reference, so didn't actually sleep there, however, we were very impressed that the owner/host was willing to show us a room example. (Not the best view from room 10, but you may not be there for the view) The room was homey and well decorated. Lobby: absolutely beautiful: warm, welcoming, cushy couches, fireplace burning: all decorated for Christmas. It's on a main road (same as Paradise Stream) and close to Mount Airy Casino. Breakfast is included and the dining room is elegant! They also have cabins for more privacy, besides the rooms in the main building.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crescent Lodge. The fireplace cabin was really pleasant, attractive & clean with a big window and real fireplace. The food at the restaurant was also delicious and the live piano music was relaxing. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely go there again and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: We chose a fireplace cabin and enjoyed the real fire all evening!

While the cabin decor is quite out of date, (think early 1990's floral waverly patterns and faux teal green marble plastic laminate counters) everything was immaculate & very well maintained. The whole atmosphere was cozy & quaint. The staff & owners are very friendly & helpful. We stayed in one of the cabins with our two children after spending the day hiking the apalachian trail. We also had friends staying there in another cabin. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay with the family (and avoid the craziness of a great wolf lodge) this is a charming place. Dinner was very good. the service was great. I would recommend the Crescent Lodge for a couples get away, a nice family stay or even a great place to stay with a group of friends. My only recommendation is a serious need to update the decor.

My wife and I take numerous rides in the Vette through the pocono mountains, but no trip is complete without stopping in and visiting our friends at the Crescent Lodge ! It could be simply for a drink to catch up with our buddy Frank or catching dinner. The lodge is very inviting and the food and atmosphere worth every penny !!

I spent a beautiful, quiet early October day and overnight at the Crescent Lodge in the main inn, on a Sunday evening when several inn rooms were occupied but few or no cabins. My room was bright and comfortable. I walked around the property peeking into empty cabins, trying to get an idea what the place would be like when much busier with young families. This is a handsome and modestly-priced property worth seeing, with excellent cuisine and service in their well-appointed dining room or intimate bar-lounge. There is a nearly a football-field-sized, flat green lawn that forms a "commons" around which the cabins are arrayed. The main part of the property is nicely landscaped and maintained though not in the woods -- a wooded area with a trail sits at the back of the property, and there are varied parks and ski areas within a short distance. The main lodge lobby is traditionally furnished with high ceiling, fireplace, and a picture window facing front. Cabins are modern, with porches and decks; many are in duplex cabin buildings but with each side having its private porch. Many cabin rooms have jacuzzis and ample space. There are not dramatic views directly from this property, but you are an easy commute to scenery and varied activities. This is a family-owned and conscientiously staffed lodging where they want to take care of whatever you need.

Room Tip: Well...the lodge is a handsome building with hallways and individual rooms, at the front of the prop...
