We stayed in cabin #8, the Abe Lincoln cabin. It was a great cabin for a couple to stay in, very cozy but we never felt cramped for space. It was adorably decorated and warm, well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed for cooking. It was tall enough for a 6' tall person, so long as you watched the doorways ;) The Hominy Ridge owners were very accommodating with meeting our needs, access to the hot tub, maps, and local info. The hot tub itself was great, and we loved how it looked out into the woods. One night a dozen deer trotted past us while we were in it.
We mostly do cabin camping in the cold months, preferring tent camping in the summer. It can be hard to find good places that are open in the winter, and Hominy Ridge was a welcome gem. They have great winter rental rates and special deals on top of it. Highly recommended.
