The Boathouse is a great little spot in Conshey.
It has a fun friendly atmosphere, it's a great place to watch a game or any sporting event.
The wings are great, as well as the nacho's, salads and sandwiches. I think what people need to realize is, this is just your typical pub grub. Saying that, it's much better than some places.
After they closed their location in Wayne, my kids and myself often drive here for wings and nachos. I like the salads too.
The ingredients are always fresh.
I have always found the bar tenders friendly and knowledgeable of the beer selection. The waitresses are your typical college kids, some better than others.
All in all, we have been coming here for years. The Wayne location was the best, always clean. This location is fine, maybe could use a overhaul. It's been around awhile.
The clients all seem friendly, good mix of office workers and college kids, parents on the run, and older gentlemen having an end if day drink.
Can't say what the night time atmosphere is like, can only imagine its younger.
I bet my older kids hang here.

You should not ask too much of this Conshocken tavern. But for decent moderate prices and good Pub food, it is hard to go wrong. Again, if you are out with Greg LeBan and seeking the gourmet high life, you will be disappointed. But if yoiu want good burgers, really friendly service a good drink list and an unpretentious atmosphere this is a fine stop in this town and has been for many years. Conshocken is a knd of crossroads town sitting just off all the major highways bisecting the Philadelphia area. That said, it has maintained an old-time Pennsylvania town atmosphere and has managed to cram a batch of good bars and restaurants into a very few square miles. The Boat House is one such place.

Stopped in for Lunch on a weekday. Pleasant atmosphere and good food. The street parking was metered, and the meter man was walking the streets. So if you go, be sure to put enough money in the meter.

It's a pretty large place for a neighborhood style bar with lots of tv screens everywhere on different channels. So whatever you might want to watch, you can sit there, as long as they are not crowded. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty so we sat by the fish tank, which my grandson loved and it entertained him for part of the time. The menu was pretty varied so youll find something you like. The server was very pleasant and friendly. We ordered the shrimp po boys and it was just the right amount of spice on the shrimp and the French fries that came with it. The pork sliders were dry and greasy, to a point where he couldn't eat it at all. The bread was saturated with oil and it was not good at all. They were not good at all. Two meals were good and one was terrible. I would say thisis a good place to hangout with friends and watch a game of sorts. I probably would not come here again though.
