“An OK experience”
Reviewed May 6, 2014

I went with a colleague for early dinner on a Monday - not the busiest day of the week generally, and in the case of Coyote Crossing, very quiet indeed so hard to judge how it would be if busy. The patio looked lovely, but as it was raining torrentially, off limits, but I could see that an outdoor meal on it could be a good experience. Indoors, the ambience was a little dull - the room not particularly exciting, the bar dull and the toilets really very small indeed.

So how was the food? A mixed bag. The free chips were delicious, the draught beer was good. The mains were pretty tasty - we had the fajitas, which were delicious, but slightly let down by there being only 3 wraps for a mountainous pile of food (I had the beer and chicken ones). Given portion size, this seems like an odd economy. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, as her only customers for most of our meal, I expected nothing less, but she was helpful and made recommendations, especially on drinks!

Overall an ok experience, not too expensive so value ok, service, ok food ok - overall...........ok.

“Perfect Outdoor Dining”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

It was the first good day of spring, the kids were all out and so it was the perfect chance to find an outdoor deck and some good food. Coyote Crossing fit the requirement perfectly.
I have to admit I have been here a number of times and the Crossing is one of my favourite restaurants around.
The food is great and I love the atmosphere sitting outside; its noisy, bubbly and fun.
We had a tuna tower (not sure exactly what it was called) but it was delicious. I followed with traditional fajitas. They were still sizzling and there were enough pancakes for all of the delicious contents. My wife had a fish dish which was very tasty.
I would definitely go again and would recommend it on a nice sunny afternoon / evening.

“Date night has good ambience with a fireplace and great Mexican food n beers”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

While this place was empty
On a week night
The staff was attentive and the salsa and chips yummy
Went to the bar where the only other couple was seated to see what beers were on draft and bartender recommended a great draft beer
We were seated and our waiter was very prompt when serving
And left us to our dinner date until we waved him over to get our check
A little pricey on the food
As it all went up since last visit
But good overall
