We stayed at The Confluence House for an overnight visit to the area. The "reception" was not very friendly or welcoming. The accommodations were clean and the overall house was well-kept, but that is the best I can say. The hostess/owner at breakfast seemed overwhelmed and somewhat put upon. The whole vibe was the opposite of relaxing. A little music would have gone miles to soften it up and make it less sterile. Or perhaps they need some help in the kitchen? Overall, it was very disappointing and I wish we had stayed at a different place.
