Seems to be the meeting place for locals and everyone knows your name or face. Great breakfasts and very reasonably priced. Stand in line to get a booth or take a seat at the counter and you won't be sorry. Sandwiches, soups and meals are all served with good service. Try a grilled Shifter sandwich and you won't be sorry. Specials on the menu every day.

The gift shop at Hinkle's is wonderful. Unique and reasonably priced items. And there is an annual sidewalk sale in July that's a great time to pickup bargains from the gift shop. Pharmacy is always busy and all employees in the store are very helpful and pleasant.

My husband and I eat at Hinkle's at least weekly and sometimes more often.

Step back in time to eat/ drink at an old time Cafe in a 5&dime store. Food and service was good, Booths were a little small but the prices made up for any discomfort. Milk Shakes were Great.

Hinkles has the best breakfast in the area, considering quality of food, ease of parking and reasonable prices. The ham and cheese omlet was one of the best I have ever had, and the French toast was wonderful. We just discovered this place and plan on returning often. They also have a nice selection of gifts, toys and medical supplies in the pharmacy.

For 120 years, Hinkle's Pharmacy Restaurant has been serving the community of Columbia, PA. It's always a joy to stop in around Christmas to visit with friends and relatives who have come to love this institution in this small town. There is always a booth available and a server with a great big smile. Try the grilled egg and olive sandwich on white bread. This is real comfort food. Don't forget the gift shop that is loaded with stocking stuffers at Christmas time. You won't go wrong with any reason that you choose to patronize Hinkle's.

A tiny diner in a pharmacy, you get what you pay for - good, plain food at decent pricing. The owner was sitting next to us and it was obvious he knew all the locals by name (he also paid for his food and left a tip). A good place to stop before heading to the Turkey Hill Experience.
