We stumbled across this place after searching for something new between Lancaster and York that had good reviews. I have to say we were very happy with Bully's. The menu is diverse enough, in both price and flavor combinations, that anyone can find something.  The food was very tasty. We enjoyed portobello stuffed mushroom (with crab imperial) on top of curry cauliflower, pork (perfectly cooked), steak and a unique sweat and sour tortellini pasta with a little kick. The menu is changed from time to time to reflect some of what is available for the season, including a seasonal salad with grilled peaches, and the menu offers information on where meat was sourced (many items locally - like the buffalo). Our waitress was delightful, helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is gem in Columbia. Well worth the drive. Be sure to make reservations, they got pretty packed at about 7:30.

We were on our way to The Turkey Hill Experience (which I do NOT recommend) and saw this review. The place is a clean and friendly bar. The waitservice was friendly and attentive. The kitchen, however, was really slow. Took about 30 min to get out our 6 meals. And we were the only ones in the place. But once we got our food it was pretty good. Above average bar food. Our girls devoured their fish & chips and tbe grilled cheese. Burgers were good, too. Also recommend the Seasonal Salad (or at least the one we had this season).

This is no ordinary inn. I recently stayed at Bully's Inn with a colleague for a business trip to Columbia, PA. I have platinum status on Starwood and can confidently say that Bully's rivals most Westin and Sheraton hotels in terms of cleanliness, but also includes a friendly atmosphere that is hard to find at the large hotel chains. The rooms are extremely clean, include new flat screen TVs, alarm clocks, free wifi, and comfortable beds. In addition, we were given complimentary coffee, tea, and breakfast muffins from the bakery next door. For business travelers, I cannot imagine staying at a nicer place in the area. At nights we were able to use the common room to watch TV and also discuss work before the next day. The hotel owner was very gracious and did everything he could to make our visit comfortable. It is VERY rare to find hotel service like this in a major city, let alone in a small town like Columbia, PA. This is the type of place you want to see do well, especially because you realize that the owner has gone to such great lengths to make you feel cared for. Highly recommended. Great deal.
