I have ate a Mr. E's three times now when staying in town at the Courtyard Marriott. I first visited this place because of the distance to my motel and some of the reviews on tripadvisor. I will add each time the staff has been very prompt and friendly. The food arrives quick and hot and well prepared. The past time I just got some hot wings and boardwalk fries. I will continue to visit when I'm in the area.

Well, it is actually on a road leading to Amish Country heading west from the Philly suburbs, so it only seems to be on a the road to nowhere. This is a pretty typical rural tavern with average food and friendly enough people. The burgers are indistinguished, the chicken livers in bacon were mediocre and the Caeser Salad was fatigued. The waitress was very nice and competent enough and informal. There was a pretty good variety on the menu...all kinds of soups, chops and other specialty items. Prices are rural-reasonable.Our waitress said "awesome alot. But the food was cooked to order and she got the specifications right. "How would you like your burger cooked?" "i'll take it medium". "OK...awesome". "Would you like a lemon with your club soda?" "Sure, thanks" "Awesome".

We were a couple of English tourists looking for a decent meal after a long day. We pulled into Mr E's not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were all graciously polite and friendly. The food helpings were generous, well prepared and and good value. Tuesday night happened to be Karaoke night. At home in the UK we have avoided karaoke like the plague - but like the food it was unexpectedly good at Mr E's - happy people - some of them pretty reasonable singers - having a good night out. We enjoyed ouselves!

Great food, great service, very comfortable place. Our choice outside the neighborhood has never disappointed.

we live very close to this restaraunt and usually go there quite routinely because it is always a good meal, whether you want a lunch sandwich or a fine dining experience. All is good
