Description: This is Denny's Beer Barrel Pub, that's right, the Denny's Beer Barrel Pub that is known for the "World's Largest Hamburger Challenges" and where it all began. What started with a two pound hamburger challenge with homemade buns baked in a coffee can, has now turned into a world famous event. "The Ye Olde 96er" is what really boosted Denny's Beer Barrel Pub into fame and has since been featured on The Food Network, Travel Channel, Tony Danza Show, Good Morning America, Today Show, David Letterman's Top 10, and Country Fried Home Videos on the Country Music Channel. While our two pound burgers are what bring people in, the quality of our daily food is what keeps them coming back. Our menu offers more than just burgers and includes more than 46 different types of wings and several delicious appetizers that are sure to satisfy any appetite. Be sure to wash your food down with one our more than 30 beers on tap including more than 20 craft and local brews. The staff at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub would like to welcome you to Clearfield and invite you to visit us and all our community has to offer.

“We love this place!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

My husband and I love to eat here when we're hiking in the PA Wilds. The staff is nice, their draft beer selection is awesome (craft and imported selections), they have elk, buffalo, and ostrich burgers in addition to their great beef ones, good desserts, and a big menu of good bar food. We saw the restaurant mentioned for their giant competition burgers on a local Pittsburgh show one time, so we decided to stop there the next time we were in the area, and we've been eating there ever since.

“GREAT BURGER”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

I first heard of Denny's Pub on the travel channel. On my annual motorcycle ride from south Florida to Ontario I set Denny's as one of my destinations. When i arrived I told the hostess that I had just ridden 1500 miles for a hamburger. The service was friendly and helpfull. The hamburger was even better..it was great. Lots of choices for toppings. You can"t go wrong. I'll be back.

“Denny's BB Pub lives up to its reputation!”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

Denny's combines a great atmosphere, nice restaurant layout, a huge selection of food and drinks, and very friendly service. You MUST one of their great burgers, available in many different sizes from Sane to Insane. I Absolutely love their Angus Burger! Open face sandwich on Texas Toast, a half lb burger with all the fix-ens and fries. Awesome.

The menu offers a lot of varieties of all American FOOD. If you don't go there once, you will miss a truly great experience!

“A wonderful place, out of the past”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Remember the old road house steak and beer places from the 50's and 60's? This is it!!!

More beer options that you'll find anywhere else, all at a reasonable price. The wine choices are also okay and also very reasonable.

The hamburgers options are great, but the three sizes of black Angus steak all for less than $20 trumped any thought of ordering a hamburger. The onion rings were delicious. No room for desert unfortunately.

If you have a GPS program in the address, 1423 Dorey Street and let it take you to the front door. The crowd is very informal, kids have lots of choices and the decor is right out the 1950's. If you're just passing through on I-80 this might be a much better lunch stop than other options in town.
