Description: This is Denny's Beer Barrel Pub, that's right, the Denny's Beer Barrel Pub that is known for the "World's Largest Hamburger Challenges" and where it all began. What started with a two pound hamburger challenge with homemade buns baked in a coffee can, has now turned into a world famous event. "The Ye Olde 96er" is what really boosted Denny's Beer Barrel Pub into fame and has since been featured on The Food Network, Travel Channel, Tony Danza Show, Good Morning America, Today Show, David Letterman's Top 10, and Country Fried Home Videos on the Country Music Channel. While our two pound burgers are what bring people in, the quality of our daily food is what keeps them coming back. Our menu offers more than just burgers and includes more than 46 different types of wings and several delicious appetizers that are sure to satisfy any appetite. Be sure to wash your food down with one our more than 30 beers on tap including more than 20 craft and local brews. The staff at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub would like to welcome you to Clearfield and invite you to visit us and all our community has to offer.

“Great Food”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

Waited for 15 minutes to be seated, but it was well worth it. Food was great, came fast. Never needed to ask for a drink refill thanks to the efficient, friendly staff. Will be coming back.

“Go here for the regular burgers and the wings. Everything else was stale.”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

This is the home of the 3 pound cheeseburger challenge. Get a beef burger off the menu (any size) as the beef is fresh. All other burgers are stale and probably frozen.

Wings were terrific.

Always packed so be prepared for a wait.

“Taste of Central PA”
Reviewed January 9, 2012

This sports bar in a little town with friendly service is kid friendly and has good bar food. If you're looking to eat a 2 lb burger, this is the spot. If you're not, you can get great fries, burger, beer and relax.

“overpriced”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

So much hype...Over priced and you'll get charged for ordering ranch dressing and all condiments. Be prepared to wait forever for your food.

“World Famous World Largest Hamburgers right here in Central PA”
Reviewed December 30, 2011

Denny's has been featured on every television show imaginable for food. Denny's has consistantly held the record for the largest commercially available hamburger. I have seen many people try and fail at eating even the smaller two and three pound ones. There is a competition to do these things and you need to give notice you are coming. I do not recommended actually eating one as they can not taste that great. It is great to see and watch others. I do recommend you get other items off the menu. Truth be told they have the largest menu of any restaurant I have eveer seen. If you want it, it is likely on the menu. This des present problems for getting things fast as they wait to make it when yu order it. I have spent two hours waiting for food. You need to go here with a large group for a great time and when food gets there be happy. If you want a quick lunch, this is not for you. This place is in Central PA very close to I-80 so if crossing Pennsylvania you will come close to this at the Clearfield Exit. Also right along SR 322. They do have a great selection of Beer. This is great for a bachelor party but it is family friendly and many ball teams of kids show up.
