What a wonderful place to spend our 10th wedding anniversary- the location, decor, ambience, hospitality....and then the breakfasts!!! Ashley and Glenn have created their own piece of paradise. We only wish we could have stayed for the Plum Pudding!

Ashley and Glen are the consummate inn keepers! Everything about our 2 night stay was wonderful!!!Every last detail was attended to - there even was an umbrella for us to use when it rained and snacks and drinks when we came back from a full day of touring. Our room was lovely and comfortable and the breakfast was scrumptious!!! We were thrilled with our stay and hope to return some day for another visit. We have already told our friends about this special place. Thank you!

From the second you pull into the beautifully landscaped grounds of this regal mansion, you are immediately greeted with outstanding hospitality and warmth from the owners, Ashely and Glen Mon. Then you walk into the doors of this gracious mansion amd are in awe of the antiques and collectables. The excitment does not stop there, Glen takes you on a fabulous tour, with history included, of the mansion, and then you are welcome to roam the floors and partake of the complimentary Sherry and Port that are contained in antique crystal decanters and beautifully arranged and served on a silver platter with antique cordials.

We happened to come across the Hamanessett while conducting a last minute internet search for Inns/B&B's in the Brandywine country. I initially felt very disappotinted when making reservations as Ashely proceeded to inform me that there were no restaurants in the area that had reservations left for Christmas Eve, however, when she called me back to extend a VIP invitation to join she and Glen for dinner, I was overwhelmed. Here a lady that I just met was inviting us to dinner. That is true 'Southern hospitality' (by the way, Ashley is a southern belle through and through). The dinner was spectaular, and a wonderful Christmas present! We are no strangers to Inns and B&B's, and like many enthusiasts know a great place when we are lucky enough to find it. We hope that you will treat yourself to the great hospitality and ambiance that we were fortunate enough to come across at the Hamanassett.

Sincere Thanks.

Hamanassett B&B- Chester Heights,PA

The Hamanasssett is a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable place to stay in the Brandywine River area. The inn is beautifully appointed with family heirlooms and fine antiques. The house, like its owners, is warm and welcoming. Our suite was luxurious and we felt very pampered in our king size canopy bed.
Ashley and Glenn provide an outstanding breakfast, which lasted us nearly the entire day! The pumpkin pancakes and stewed apples was a hit. Glenn's tips on playing billards in the evening was lots of fun. His directions to nearby attractions were accurate and suggestions on restaurants were right on.
My husband and I look forward to a return visit. We highly recommend this charming B&B.

This is a wonderful B&B, we would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We stayed here for our first anniversary, and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful, full of antiques, but also very warm and comfortable. The breakfast is spectacular, and the owner is very friendly and takes excellent care of her guests. The 2 dogs are very sweet, and we felt right at home here. A wonderful getaway location.

We just returned from a week end at Hamanassett and were delighted with every detail of our stay there.
The decor is exquisite, the inn keepers are friendly and really make you feel as if you are at home. The warm atmosphere and delicious breakfasts really encourage interaction between guests adding to our enjoyment of our time there. The grounds are bucolic and and the furnishings are lovingly cared for. This is a place that makes you feel welcomed into a former time when good taste and comfortable elegance were popularly available.
We recommend Hamanassett without reservation.

My wife and I spent a wonderful, relaxed weekend at this charmimg and welcoming country-style Inn. The comforts and special touches were supurb. And the optional extras really made our stay special. It was a great place to meet some new friends, but with plenty of space for alone down-time as well. And the Brandywine Vally affords many great places to visit, things to do, and fine historic dining.
