We visited this place on Saturday during foliage season, which is high season for this attraction.
We came earlier then our tour time, but they were completely booked and could not move us to earlier spot.
If you want, you could walk from visitor center to the house via sculpture garden. Garden is half way to the house, however, trail from the garden to the house is not marked - you need to choose unmarked trail, which is go up-hill. Sculpture garden is curios mixture of some contemporary sculpture (not everybody cup of tea) with some old red telephone boxes from UK.
If possible, go on sunny day. Guide told us that Wright was actively playing with skylights to route light through the house, however we visited on very grey day and missed this part.
Café is small and by 2 PM they run out of soups and sandwiches, however ice cream was nice, so for lunch is better to go to Ohiopyle which is 5-10 min away.
