Hosted a business function at BP with about 12 people. Had to find a place that had the right atmosphere, a diverse menu and great service because my group is picky. This fit the bill perfectly. The arugula salads (one on menu, one specialty that day) were both well received. The appetizers (scallops, mushroom tart) were liked, though was a little disappointed that they didn't do more with mushrooms considering it was the week of the mushroom festival. The filet and ribeye were the most popular items and were buttery and flavorful - everyone having a steak, which was the majority of the group, really liked them. The Diver Scallops were perfectly cooked and a huge hit. Veggies were good, some were a little soft for my taste (I like them crunchy), but got raves from the group (Brusells sprouts especially). Dessert was very good -- what you would expect at a restaurant like this.
Service was really great, though I think we had some newer helpers with our experienced main waitress (we sat at a long banquette I had specifically requested and they accommodated by putting tables together). I could see a few looks with the younger kids trying to figure out how to serve our hot dishes across people -- they were trying so hard to make sure it was done well. I give them props for being able to do that with a larger group.
All-in-all, I would definitely go back again - and would definitely take a business group here. We were checked on by the manager, who made the rounds of all the tables, making sure everyone was having a good experience.
