Great wines! I love the Spiced Apple Wine, which tastes like apple pie in a bottle. Lovely setting with outdoor seating. Friendly staff who make the tasting experience enjoyable. I haven't been to any of their events, but they look fun.

Chaddsford is one of several wineries in the area. The atmosphere and shop were great, and the person we tasted with was friendly and knowledgable about the wines. As for the wines, they were just okay. Not terrible, but nothing amazing.

$8 for tasting is a but steep, but if I guess they can get away with it - why not?
The wines are very average and selection is limited. They do have a nice gift shop.

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a tour of Chaddsford Winery. The ride to the Winery was through beautiful countryside. The winery is located off a busy highway but once you pull in you forget the outside world. We toured the vineyard with a knowledgeable guide and finished off the afternoon with a lovely wine tasting. We were able to bring home our wine glasses to remember a perfect afternoon in Chadds Ford, PA.

I want to go back and take visiting family from California in September. They need to see the East coast has several nice vineyards, too!

This winery charges a ridiculous tasting fee of $8 and you receive no discount unless you buy a case of wine. You don't even see this in some of the more prominent wine regions. The winery is also very impersonal as the staff seems more concerned about dollar signs than taking pride in their wine. Save your time and money and go elsewhere...
