“great diner”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Low key, diner atmosphere, good food with many specials. Great breakfast. Highly recommend for those not looking for fancy. You are there when you see the beautiful flowers!

“Iconic Brandywine Valley - Wyeth Country Diner”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

Really good, solid home cooking. Nothing "fancy" about this place except some of the cars packed into the over stretched parking lot. But the food is very good, the menu decently varied, the specials always piping hot and delicious. It can be a tight squeeze and service can be rushed but my god they make a mean hot turkey platter and a classically good turkey club. Breakfast are always good, varied and served all day. And they always have a Greek special or two. Yummy moussaka in the heart of Wyeth Contry just down from the Brandywine battlefield is a little peculiar but it's pretty nice to have the option!!! Voula, the beautiful Greek lady who owns this place (and works here all the time) seems to keep her staff for years. This is clean, well run must do place for breakfast or lunch.

“Decisions, Decisions !!”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

So many great dishes on the menu and add to that all the
specials of the day, make for a great meal. It's the
perfect spot to visit if you're craving comfort food.
After multiple visits,I can say they don't disappoint.
A perfect place to stop, paired with a trip to The
Brandywine Museum.

“average food... a little overpriced”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

odd hours and average food. Not bad, but not amazing either. (I had the shepherd's pie, and my colleagues had a greek dish and a quesadilla.) I am told there is a long line for breakfast, but a co-worker went once to experience this and said even breakfast was average.

“Best Breakfast in Area”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

We were staying in town at a local chain hotel and were recommend to Hanks in lieu of the hotel breakfast. No comparison. You may have to wait on line especially weekends but it;s worth the wait. Small place with a big friendly smile from waiters. Food is all homemade ,hot and tasty. Only set back they do not accept credit cards so have cash on hand. Prices are fair though. One specialty is the chipped beef and gravy that looks like a hit. Give it a try when in the area. Can't miss all the hanging flowers outside right on US Route 1.
