This was our first experience with Korean Food and Kim was great! She kept bringing over food for us to try. The place is not fancy, but Kim is so friendly its almost like sitting in her kitchen and she brings everything to you herself fresh from her stove!

We had heard about her dumplings from friends who had been to a party that she had catered. Catering is a large part of her business. My husband is more adventurous than me when it comes to food, so he ordered a big plate of beef with black rice and whatever Kim suggested and he loved it! When we asked what was some of the food in it, she explained what it was and brought over extra. We will definitely be going back!

Don't let the looks fool you the food is excellent.

The moment we walked in, the owner offered us a sample of bulgogi (beef barbecue) and vegetable dumplings she'd just made. Both were delicious, so we ordered a dish of bulgogi with rice, another of bulgogi with noodles, and some of the dumplings, which came with an obviously homemade ginger and pepper sauce. She also brought over two kinds of kimchi (one a seasonal special made with sesame leaves from her garden), two kinds of pickles, plus a small dish of glutinous rice cakes in a spicy red sauce and also a sample of spicy tofu, just because she happened to be making it. Everything was good, and we were very happy!

By the way, the restaurant is called Kim's Kitchen and the food is Korean, not Vietnamese as one reviewer said. It's on a one-way street, so keep a sharp eye out for the parking lot (two entrances) or you'll have passed it with no obvious way of getting back!

Bad first impression from owner who was rude. Not good Korean food. The trip to the Philadelphia area is worth taking to get the real deal.

We love Kim's Kitchen, as it is called. The food is GREAT!!! This is a regular take-out stop for us on a monthly basis and Kim is always cooking up something new. Authentic Korean dishes can be found, as well as more traditional deli staples. Seasonal herbs and veggies from Kim's garden prevail...we even had sesame leaves on our last visit. This is a fun place to try new things and as another reviewer said, Kim will help you find yor perfect dish, menus are optional.

The eat-in option is VERY casual. This is simply a collection of tables and chairs in an open area next to the kitchen/deli set-up. Kim does outside catering, but I've also seen smaller-scale private gatherings on-site.

Owner operated, Kim does her best to make sure her patrons leave 100% satisfied.

Authentic Vietnamese food with an amerrican twist. Atmosphere is absolutely nothing special - I don't think anything matches, including the silverware - but the food is the best. Don't bother ordering off of the menu, just tell Kim to bring you food. . . you won't be disappointed. This is not fine dining, just fine food! Excellent catering too.
