I always think it a shame that the nearby Promenade Shops get so much business, and that the Manor House Inn gets overlooked.
Old fashioned French Country ambiance makes you feel relaxed and pampered. Dark gleaming wood accents in the bar area, and the crackling fireplace make any night seem special.
Chef Bart has always consistently created fabulous dishes, whether it be from land or sea. (The potatoes Dauphinoise are always a favorite), and there is usually a little something for everyone on the dessert list.
Great drinks from the bar, and they can accommodate just about any request, which you wouldn't expect, judging from the size of the establishment.
I highly recommend giving them a try.

My husband and I enjoyed everything about this old country Inn from linen tablecloths, fine china and silverware, as well as, the classical music playing softly in the background. Our server was excellent and accommodating and made our meal a delight. The food was exceptionally delicious and presented well. All of this coupled with the romantic ambiance made for an unforgettable experience. We will definitely return!

We had a terrific meal here most recently. The place is a beautiful old country inn and the atmosphere is old rustic French romantic. Linen tablecloths, fine china and silverware. Nice classical music playing in the background. Most reminiscent of The late, great famous Ballietsville Inn which was a nearby Allentown - area staple for elegant cuisine for many years. The appetizers of sautéed sweetbreads were delicious as was the entrée of coconut lobster, fresh delicious lobster meat taken out of its shell, cubed, seasoned and cooked, and then placed back in the shell to be served with eye appeal, and for easy non - messy removal. Accompanied by fresh asparagus spears and piping hot scalloped potatoes. The dessert tray was grand. A special mention goes out to our server Mary, who learned her trade coincidentally enough at The Ballietsville Inn. She is quite the bartender and still knows how to make all the cocktails, including hard - to - find classics such as Courvoisier Alexander and Pink Squirrel !
