Only been once, we thought we woukd give it a go as it was new. The curry was very bland, the bahji's were over cooked. The best part was the little portion of salad... says it all really....

We alway used to go to a.n. other indian for our takeaways, but since we tried Agra Spice we have converted. The food is always delivered on time, its is always hot and tasty. We've had a few meals from here now and they have all been excellent quality. Best indian in Ashton by far.

We saw Agra Spice and notice it was well reviewed and decided to give it a try as there is little in Ashton in Makerfield that can supply a really nice Indian.

The order was placed on just eat and ready in a very short space of time, they advertised a discount if collected rather than delivered - nope didn't get this.

Starters where Chicken Puri Chat and Samosas, both very pleasant and the chat had a nice little bit of heat, so we were looking forward to the mains.

Mains were Chicken Madras and Chicken Dopiaza, the madras was breast meat (the least tasty in my view) in a very red and awful sauce, the sauce was the colour of tomato sauce (Heinz) and was very vinegary, in fact it was awful. I finished the meat, not a lot of it, by dipping it in partners dopiaza sauce to offset the horrible flavour.

Other half had a dopiaza which lacked onions and was decidedly mediocre at best, it was good enough to try and overcome the madras flavour but had not real flavour at all.

The Keema naan had a little keema in it but not much and tasted very like kebab meat so again was not too enjoyable.

We really wanted this to be good as our go to is in Newton so a bit of a drive away but it looks as though it will be Newton for a while longer
