Both of us were feeling a little peaked from a tiny bit too much fun the night before. We were directed to the Middlesex Diner and were not dissappointed. The service was excellent as was the big breakfast. We left feeling much better!

Middlesex Diner offers an exhaustive breakfast menu - including local fare. I had the Creamed Chipped Beef on home fired potatoes. So good I could almost feel my arteries blocking up!

My wife and I had two dinners each, May 2-3. I go for the grilled chicken breast both times, and she had two different fish dishes. The place is friendly with fat service, and the food is always good. Reasonable prices, too.

The diner was right next to the hotel. We were tired after our day and this was perfect and the food was good too. Service was fast.

You know when a pot of soup has been sitting around too long? And a thick skin forms on the top? Well, dip the ladle in and serve up a couple bowls for us! That's what we had...big slabs of cream soup skin in pallid soup. Grilled cheese pretty thin on the cheese. (C'mon...how can you screw up a grilled cheese sandwich?) Greek salad HUGE but otherwise nothing special. (You have to ask for olives if you want 'em! Fair enough--some folks would just waste unwanted olives.) We'd read Trip Advisor reviews and so sought this place out during our travels--expecting a DINER with DINER food and DINER atmosphere. People, this is a tired "family" restaurant with nice staff, clean tables, so-so or not so so-so food...if you want something to fill your belly without emptying your wallet this is your place.
