Dump. Don't waste your time or money. The food is bland garbage and their signature food is a nasty hot dog loaded with some foul smelling topping. If your signature food is garbage them you as a whole are a dump. Save yourself the wasted time and money on this one.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. We ordered mostly sandwiches, but they were all very good with generous portions of meat. They were also fairly inexpensive. Service was surprisingly fast considering the number of people there that day - less than 10 minutes. I would go there again.

I often drive 20 miles from Harrisburg to eat at the Milton. Probably the single best item is the Hotchee (American cheese, fine meaty chili sauce, mustard, and minced onions) Rib Eye Sandwich special, with onion rings and cole slaw; and put everything on the sandwich, ketchup, too. You get a quarter inch slab of good ribeye with all the hotchee fixings. Great value. Wonderful people run this place. I get great service here, so I really do not understand what trouble others are having. Recommended dishes or the Hotchee Dogs, Hotchee Burger Special, Ham Sandwich (sliced to order off the bone), great milk shakes (with hand scooped ice cream), french fries with gravy, and the breakfast are very good, too. The pies and cakes are local, fresh, and good, too. This place is an institution, a landmark, a favorite of Dickinson students for close to fifty years, and one of the flat out best D,D, &Ds around.

This is a family run diner which does not attempt to offer fine cuisine. The bugers and dogs are legendary to students of nearby Dickinson College, who are often seen here late at night. The famous hotchee dogs and hotchee burgers are served with cheese and a homemade chile style topping. The early morning crowd includes locals enjoying eggs and pancakes while chatting with the staff and owners, who have been here for years. The atmospherew is simple booths and tables with counter service also available. They are closed on Sunday.

Probably one of the worst restaurants, food, service, and experiences I have ever had.

We sat down, were given drinks. Put our food order in. The waitress slammed down the food - never once mind you greeting us during this time nor even looking at us, talking to others in the restaurant the entire time - threw some straws on the table - and we never saw her again. My poor mother finished her 1/2 cup serving of water and could not grab anyone's attention for a refill for the rest of our meal.

The prices were absolutely outrageous - $5.50 for a hot dog and $8.50 for a cheeseburger - that would have tasted better coming from a truck in new york city. Unfortunately, because of the disappointing service, we had to go up to the cash register before receiving our check, at which point we were advised that cash only was accepted. We explained very politely our experience to the gentleman at the register, who did not apologize, and only stated, "I cannot take your card for payment."

I would highly suggest steering clear of this over-priced, rude establishment and seeking out one of the other many establishments across the street on High Street.
