“A pleasant place for lunch”
Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

I wasn't going to order pizza yesterday, but did because the spinach, mushroom and mozzarella sounded so good. It WAS! My friend had a very nice chopped salad. My only complaint has to do with limited parking. Food, service and atmosphere were very good.

“Unique”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Artichokes and spinach on a pizza. I have never been to another place that serves that combination. It is delicious. They have other creative dishes as well, including an excellent pepadew salad and a shrimp spinich salad. BYOB is a real plus too. I have not had a bad choice on their fairly diverse menu but if you are just passing through and only have one chance to visit, order one of their pizzas. They are incredible.

“A VERY decent pizza place!”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

My wife and I stop here for lunch on a regular basis. We've also enjoyed The Pizza Grille on occasion in the evening. Every visit has been a pleasant experience for us, and for our guests if we're not traveling solo. The restaurant is clean, the staff attentive, and the menu is surprisingly varied. This is NOT your average "pizza joint".

As has been mentioned, the portions are ample. We'd suggest either splitting entrees or getting half portions when possible. Soft drinks are available, but not wine or beer....HOWEVER there is a BYOB policy that permits you to bring your own wine or beer! A great way to keep the meal cost down while still enjoying your favorite dinner drink.

HINT.... Ask your server about the day's specials. They are always a hit.

PS....... Don't let the "garage doors" fool you. This is NOT a garage, and once you are inside, or if you are lucky enough to visit on a warm summer evening, you'll understand.

“Two out of three salads were good”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

However my mom found a twist tie in her salad. The rest of the salads were good and the service was good.

“Pizza Crust Way Too Thin!”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with the Pizza Grille, but for having the word pizza in its name, the pizza should be better! I've eaten there several times, and every time the pizza crust is so thin and doughy that it's impossible to pick up a slice of pizza. If you want great pizza in Carlisle, go to George's Pizza.
