I really enjoy the delicious vegan dishes at Vge Cafe! It is like going to a really nice fast food restaurant and getting delicious vegan entrees. The restaurant has a really good atmosphere, is very clean, but is not a fancy restaurant. Vge is good to go with with friends for lunch or dinner. They have delicious desserts, which are mainly vegan cupcakes, cakes, and soft serve icecream. The seitan dishes are very tasty, the kale chips are outstanding, and I love their salads, especially with their cilantro dressing. I try to go there as often as possible to help keep the restaurant thriving in our area. I recommend this place for couples, family, friends, and dining alone. I have eaten lunch and dinner there. Please give it a try!

You don't have to worry about vegan options here because this is ALL they do.
And it's good, while certainly not the best I've had. You order at the counter; pay, get your own drinks, silverware, napkins, then find a seat that's quite uncomfortable. They deliver the food to you. When you're finished eating, you dispose in the proper recycle bins. So, it's more like a cafeteria.
I got a gf falafel, which was bland. The dressing on the side wasn't there, so another trip to the counter.
My partner, a vegan virgin, loved his burrito with seitan. Its nice they give you an option of tofu or seitan, and a choice of wraps, like GF. You can also have rice or greens instead of a wrap. And both came with a few decent Kale chips.
We had unsweetened iced tea with a shot of natural Italian lemon soda which was delish.
The raspberry cheesecake was not made in house but it was really good. The place is clean, and the prices reasonable.
Just wish it were a little more comfortable.

Vegan Bahn min? Really well done reinterpretations of meat sandwiches from many cuisines. Delicious food and excellent desserts especially the soft serve "ice cream" also try the soda using real cane sugar and zevia. The owner is delightful and wants you to enjoy your food, so let him know and he'll modify anything to suit your taste.

Seating is not the most comfortable but the food is excellent.

This is a clean, well lighted establishment just up the highway from Villanova and near other institutions of higher learning, and it is not to be missed. The menu is varied with soups, salads, roasted vegetables, and soft-serve dessert. Service is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxing and wholesome, and there are usually interesting people enjoying the fare. I do not have any specific recommendations--my strategy is to keep patronizing this wonderful until I have sampled the entire menu and then start over. Please do yourself and your body a favor and come to Vge Cafe. After a lovely meal, be sure to walk around the very interesting town of Bryn Mawr.

We have been to Vge twice and both times have been very happy with food. Our order was taken by the owner and chef and he is very nice and eager to tell you about the food. I would try the Chili, Vge Steak and Reuben. The Mac and cheese was a very good try, but something baked might give it a bit more body. The deserts, provided by a 3rd party, are quite good and are fresh and served in healthy portions. We tried the carrot cake, chocolate-peanut butter, and black forest cakes.

If you're in the Bryn Mawr or Villanova area and are looking for Gluten Free, Dairy Free, or Vegan - this is the place to try.
