“Excellent”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

My wife and I dined recently at this retaurant and want to report that it was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was top notch. We enjoyed the build your own meal by selrcting a fish dish (i enjoyed mahi-mahi and my wife chose salmon, we both had the grilled beets and risoto),

Needless to say, the food was great and we will return soon.

“Rumfish, but fish:(”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

Have been here before, nice decor, happy hour drink prices are good, they offer $1 oysters, not so good, half pound of cooked shrimp for $5, they cook them in old bay seasoning, which I don't like, but it is a good deal. Met a friend yesterday, hardly anyone there. We had some oysters and a fried fish sandwich, big but very greasy and over cooked, the side of Mac and cheese was yummy though, would go for a cocktail but no food. Our dinners in the past were so so, not much of a seafood eatery.

“Disappointed in quality of food”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Very disappointed on our first (and last) visit. Music was too loud and made it difficult to have a conversation at our table. Trio appetizer was good, but so salty we kept drinking water all evening. I had the scallops and veal. The scallops were under cooked and the veal was 70% fat. I told the waiter and he brought another veal serving that was also 70% fat. Service was prompt until I complained about the veal. After that we had to ask 3 times for a water refill and had no one return to the table to inquire as to how our meal was. Ended up being an over priced and under appetizing meal.

“Mixed bag!”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

Good: were seated promptly, interesting decor, waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, Caesar salad was good as was the herby bread/butter, and the tuna was cooked to perfection.
Not so good: appetizer trio, which included lobster salad, shrimp cocktail, and crab hozel was just so-so. Lobster salad and crab hozel were unimpressive and it would be hard to mess up shrimp cocktail.
Bottom line, nothing was bad and our meal overall was enjoyable, but not enough so to justify the cost. There are many places to go that are less expensive and have better quality food. But, I might go back just for the Caesar salad as it was delicious!
