I stopped by this winery as part of a girls' weekend. The employee who served us was very nice and knowledgeable. The wine selection is pretty large and very well laid out. This winery would be great for a new wine drinker who didn't know what they were looking for. The building is pretty and has a gift shop with some larger items like wine racks for sale. There is also a covered patio with tables if you bring snacks along.

The Lehigh valley is beautiful, and you can find surprisingly good wine there if you care to try.
Sure, the classic reds don't fare well there, but some grapes take to the weather very well, and Clover Hill makes the best of it.
They have several branches, used to have one inside the Kind of Prussia mall, but the best visit is to the winery at Breiningsville. The place is well set and you can get tastings and by arrangement a cellar tour.
The best red we found there is the Chambourcin, The grape fares really well in Pennsylvania and the wine is rich in aroma and taste, highly recommended.
The Riesling and Pino Grigio are also very good, especially the oak aged ones.
If you are more experimental, try the Sangiovese. As usual with this finicky grape, the result tastes nothing like the original wines of Tuscany. However, it's surprisingly good on its own merit, so try it and judge for yourself.
Altogether, a very pleasant visit, and a good selection of very drinkable and good value for money wines at Clover Hill.

Very peaceful. No pressure to buy wine, and you can sit back and enjoy your wine right there. There was a variety of wine and can clearly see that they take pride in the assortment they provide. Specialty wines for the cooler months were there. Friendly environment.
