this place was actually very interesting. There is a long history behind the Zippo lighter. The Zippo "car" sitting outside is also really cool.

I personally don't own a zippo or a case knife yet I found the museum very interesting. Who knew zippo lighters had so much history? It's just fun to look at the many lighters and knvies for sale in the gift shop not to mention the museum itself.

We stopped here on our way to Niagara Falls based on a friend's recommendation. Everyone in the family (kids- 11 and 14 years) enjoyed the displays and facts about Zippo lighters and Case knives. The musuem is free, but it's easy to spend money in the large gift shop.

Driving South on an Early Sunday morning, I noted a sign about Zippo lighters in the city of Bradford, PA. - - - Little did I realize the treat for a place that openned at 10:00 AM and had a collection of the past that made me feel guilty for leaving after only one hour... This merits a return trip in the future with an allocation of more time to reminisce in an extensive first class collection of our heritage.

This is the first place where we used TripAdvisor to find us something to do in an area. I'm glad we did because you don't want to miss the Zippo and Case Visitor Center. This fascinating museum is a slice of Americana that is interesting even if you don't collect or use lighters (or knives). While not a huge museum, it's not a dusty, side of the road type stop. The displays are well done, the history is interesting and the tributes and stories throughout the years are touching. It sounds goofy, but this place made us proud to be Americans.

There is a repair shop on the premises, where you can get your lighter fixed for free. The museum is also free to get in, but I'm sure they more than make up for it in their extensive gift shop. We didn't make it out of there without buying one.
