Review of The Bears' Den

The Bears' Den
Ranked #6 of 39 Restaurants in Boyertown
Cuisines: American
Description: Cozy is often the word a our new (and regular) customers use to describe our restaurant. Originally built for Carver's Dairy it was converted into a restaurant. The walls and booths in the dining room have wood reclaimed from Boyertown High Schools stadium seating, which will explain the faded numbers and occasional 'peepholes' in the booths. The main dining room with its original tile floor and an added wood stove, used to be the dairy's bottle washing room where the milk trucks dropped off their glass bottles to be washed, sanitized & used again. The front room with additional seating is now more reminiscent of a coffee shop with additional seating. The Bears' Den located a bit off the beaten path, but just barely. We are a couple blocks from both Rt 73 (turn onto Chestnut St.) & Rt. 562 (aka Reading Ave) Turn onto 2nd Street, then turn left onto South Chestnut St) Our parking lot borders Boyertown Beverage.

This restaurant is a little hard to find but well worth the search. We have eaten breakfast here a few times and its always a great meal. Love the atmosphere! Give this gem a try.
