My spouse and I have been to Gramia's on many occasions (for breakfast only). Our first visit got us hooked. For a while, we went every weekend until we burned ourselves out on the menu. We still go, but less often now, and things are still the same. Good.
This is a very small roadside restaurant with a few tables and 9 or 10 booths (that fit 4 people each). Not overly decorated ... not gimmicky ... just plain and homey.
They can get filled on the weekend at times, but there's a nice lobby/waiting area outside the restaurant just in case.
Nothing fancy, this family run restaurant is a simple, friendly, value priced place. The food is generally consistent, menu is small (but okay), and they offer a few daily specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coffee is served in the old-style plastic pots and left on the table for you to fill up your own cup. Warning to coffee snobs .. this is typical diner-type fare with a little home-cooked twist and the coffee is no exception. If you are looking for bold flavor in your java, don't order it.
A favorite for many is their variety of baked oatmeals, and special pancakes, cakes and pies.
Though pretty much your basic fare, it's a nice little place. We've taken family here for breakfast when visiting from out of town (nice homey feel), and your aren't rushed.
