This was our first experience at this restaurant and certainly our last. First let me say that the wait staff were courteous and friendly. The decor reminded us more of a cafeteria than an Italian restaurant and was somewhat noisy. The food was absolutely awful. The tomato sauce (if that is what it was) came straight from a can. There were four of us dining and I ordered gnocci which came out hard, tough, tasteless and was covered with the most awful excuse for a tomato sauce. My wife ordered their eggplant bread crumbs with eggplant in there somewhere. This was also covered with their excuse for a tomato sauce. The pasta was all overcooked and tasteless. The salads were good though as was the wine (we brought our own although they do have a selection which is quite overpriced). I would recommend avoiding this restaurant as I am now sitting here chewing Rolaids after my dining "experience" at Palermo's.
