Top shelf chef and wait staff. Pricey, but the food is well prepared with a great presentation. This isn't McDonalds. Great for special occasions. Lovely outdoor area for dining, dog friendly with a beautiful arbor, pond and ducks to add.

I chose this place based on reviews of other and I am so glad we did! The whole facility was so clean and well taken care of. Very charming, country home decor. Big rooms! Heated tiles floors in the bathroom and hallway! Thick, soft pillows and blankets and perfect mattress! The staff are very friendly, helpful and accomdating! The food was gourmet for both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended! Say hi to Honey and Gwendolin the resident ducks that live in the pond!

Room Tip: Good for families and couples. Not a budget breaker!

We were traveling from SC to CT and booked the Inn. It was the perfect size for our family with 2 Queen beds and it was very, very clean! The people at the front desk were so kind and friendly. They recommended two parks to visit for our next trip since we didn't have enough time on this visit. The breakfast in the morning had many choices. For hot items, there were quiche and potatoes. For all other items, there were homemade pastries, granola, yogurt, cereal, bagels, English muffins, fresh fruit and oatmeal. Everyone in our family was happy with the breakfast selection, which isn't always an easy task. We would definitely come back to visit again and next time stay for another night so we could visit the nearby parks.

Only one negative and that was that the DVD player did not work properly. 2 different people came to fix it but no one could seem to figure out the fast forward or rewind or scroll down options on the remote and why they weren't working. We brought a movie to watch and an exercise dvd that needed scrolling down to work and it didnt work. They ended up giving us a credit of $35 for a future stay which was nice of them.. but besides the dvd not working properly..... gorgeous big, clean and spacious room. The Bathroom was huge, well positioned with a hot tub and tons of counter space. we stayed in the Stables in the "bandit" room so the 5 rooms on that end of the development from the outside looked like you were entering a horse stable. Rooms were gorgeous, big really nice rustic type but not old looking, and the help so nice at every turn. We ate and drank at the pub the 1st night and we were not dissappointed in the least. we split 2 different types of burgers and they were delicious. The place was decorated nicely and some people were dressed up others like us more casual. Drinks were tasty and the bill very reasonable. All kinds of food choices. the Pub is a one minute walk from the room. The second night we ate at the finer dining restaurant in the premises and the food was delicious. Pricier for sure but absolutely delicious with a phenomenal atmosphere over looking the duck pond. Ducks came right up to the window. we had some fish, chicken and meat and all were simply amazing. I think this is one of those places you can't do wrong with what you order. Def pricier than the pub but I would have to say worth it. This is a 2 minute walk from the room.

During the day we drove to a public park around 4 miles away. This was one huge park...tremendous on acres and acres of land. overlooking a lake. We shot baskets and walked for hours. We had lunch in bloomsburg proper which I'm sure is hopping when College is in session. We had a very nice lunch, we split a chicken sandwich at a sidewalk cafe and loved it.

Would definitely reccomend this. Not Cheap at all but right off of 80, gorgeous and just kind of perfect.

We wanted to go to our favorite amusement park (Knoebel's Grove) to celebrate a birthday so we took a long weekend and stayed here. We booked late and had to change rooms for the two nights we stayed but the staff was extremely accommodating and switched our bags while we were out at the park - they even volunteered discount tickets at the front desk when I told them where we were going.

Our room for the first night was on the second floor and was much more than we expected. Big comfy bed, frig, keurig, remodeled bathroom and large jacuzzi tub. We couldn't imagine how our room for the second night was going to be even better (the price was more) but after a day at the park we came back and were surprised once again.

Our room in the stable anex was "huge", king bed, gas fireplace, frig, keurig and super large jacuzzi tub. Just what we needed to relax after a day at the park. Both rooms were nicely decorated.

Serve yourself breakfast was included both days. It's much more than continental offerings at other hotel chains. Fine dining dinner menu is available at the Inn and faster but just as enjoyable menu at the adjoining brew pub.

We don't travel through Bloomsburg often but we will reconsider our trip routing to visit more often after our recent experience here.
