While you might not have the most exquisite (or healthy) dining experience here, it was a perfect place to refuel and relax while traveling around the Amish country on a cold day. There are lots of interesting options on the menu, many of which seemed unique to the area (which is exactly what I was hoping for). The wait staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and even better, they serve local beer.

While you probably won't be blown away by your experience or the atmosphere, the place totally fits the area, and serves the epitome of comfort food.

We ate here 10 years ago and everything was stellar. I'm afraid that commercialism has taken over. Most of the food tasted like it came out of a box. The raisin bread was good; however, I did not pay $17 to eat bread. The gift shop if full of "Made in China" items......not impressed.

My first time in an Amish restaurant. We had a nice time. The atmosphere is very nice and the place looks like a big family house.
The food was very tasty, the chicken was specially good. We had the eat-all-you-can style which allow us to try a bit of everything. The value is very good!
The desserts were fantastic, good, home made, pies with a nice ice cream.
The best part was service, the place was not crowded and the lady that helped us was very nice and aprochable.

I didn't want to cook this Thanksgiving so we chose to go to the Amish Country. We had a fabulous Country Style Family Dinner that made the trip worth while. The food and the Service was excellent. I have been here several times but Thanksgiving was something special.
