This place is as close to perfect as a hotel can be. This was our second visit. The first was on our 40th Wedding anniversary in November. This time we went to the Elvis show at the American Music Theatre, which was good. We had a one-bedroom suite which was enormous. Beautiful furnishings (no ugly cheap hotel furniture). And, the place is immaculate. Request a room with a view of the Amish farms. It's great! Did I mention the price was not bad? $159 for a Saturday night (including breakfast) The staff was very nice and helpful. We'll be back soon.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view and depending on the weather, a fireplace.

I officially see why it's called Amish View Inn & Suites. The views are peaceful and breath taking. I felt like I was in a castle. The rooms were clean and neat with a wonderful view. We were greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. Finally they have the best breakfast in the world. It was delicious and fresh. If I could I would give them a 10 star rating.

This is the fourth year that my friends and I went to Amishview for a New Years vacation. We are 3 couples and we always enjoy ourselves there. The hotel is exceptionally clean; the staff goes out of their way to be helpful; and the atmosphere is just great. Breakfast is always enjoyable; the chef behind the counter is really great. Try it for yourself. I'm sure you will have a great time.

Room Tip: The king room is sooooo roomy and comfortable.

My hubby and I planned a trip to the Lancaster Area during the 2nd week of December '13 to see the Miracle of Christmas at the Sight and Sound Theater. We'd previously stayed at the Country Living Inn for a couple nights in April while in the area to see Noah, but there were no rooms available during this visit. I chose the Amish View Inn because it's "off the beaten path" and the Plain and Fancy Restaurant is a short walk away. When we checked in, we learned the restaurant closes at 7PM during the winter months, so eating there didn't work out. We saw the 4:15 show, then came back to our room, enjoyed a couple adult beverages before ordering Pizza. The pizza was delicious and the service was great, even though I cannot remember the name of the restaurant. The front desk gave us a couple brochures containing names of restaurants that deliver to the hotel and we just picked one. After watching a little TV, we went to bed in our very comfortable queen beds. The room and bath offered plenty of space and we had a view out the back window of an Amish farm. We both slept well. Next morning, we enjoyed a very ample breakfast in the dining area downstairs. First time we've ever been offered omelettes, waffles and eggs to order at a hotel breakfast buffet. They also offered the usual cereals, yogurts, pastries, toast, etc and there was plenty of everything. I had baked oatmeal for the first time and it was good. After we departed the hotel, we stopped at the Train Museum in nearby Strasburg before driving to Mount Airy, PA. There was snow on the ground and driving through the country roads amid the Amish farms was beautiful. We'll definitely stay at the Amish View again.

We reserved this room as part of a package deal with the Sight and Sound Theater. We were amazed at the quality of this inn. From check in to check out, the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and welcoming. Large flat screen TV and comfortable sitting area made our Deluxe King room feel like home. Included was a nice counter kitchen area with bar sink, microwave and mini fridge. The room was spotless and towels and toiletries were generous. The breakfast bar was outstanding. Foods were hot, of good quality and delicious. The dining room was clean, orderly and the view of the neighboring farms really topped off our stay. Don't hesitate to book a room here. This is one of our top 2 stays through all of our travels.
