As always, didn't let us down. Got my jams & jellies and some homemade bread. No buses this time so that was great. Got a wonderful picture worth more than paid for it.

“Nice Bakery But Hard to Find”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

This bakery is not on any of the main roads and on a very small road in the middle of farm land. Most people I know that have went to Lancster many times simply do not know about this place and would never find it without being told where it is then given a map or GPS to find it This adds to the fun of coming here. They have a few animal for the kids to feed and a small play area. The Bakery items are very good. If you can go during the morning hours many of the items such as the sticky buns may be coming out of the oven. They are very good but much better when warm. The prices hear are also good and much better then the larger bakeries which are on the main roads. I noticed many locals along with some tourists shopping here.

“Simply sweet”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

This place is not a standard bake shop. It's a gift shop with a counter and some shelves with fresh baked goods by an Amish family. There's the classic Dutch goods such as; fruit pies, shoo fly pie, and whoopie pie. We had pie and whoopie pies , both had a nice fresh homemade taste. Outside there is a very small petting pen and a small playground. It's worth stopping by.

“Authentic Amish baked goods and countryside experience”
Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

Skip the breakfast buffets and take a nice short ride through the countryside for some hot coffee, fresh squeezed lemonade or fresh whole milk to accompany a wide variety of baked goods and hot homemade soft pretzels. The raisin pecan sticky buns, blueberry cream cheese tarts and sour cream an onion pretzels were our favorites. They have a sampler box to share. Spread out on your picnic blanket and watch Amish children scoot and families drive by in their wagons. Fresh produce and homemade doll clothes and bags were for sale outside too. Several picnic tables were also provided.
