The lobby was good size and has a fireplace, tv and sitting area. It was very comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant. The bar area was small, but nice and has a few televisions. We ate in the restaurant twice. The food was decent, not great, but edible. The servers were very friendly and attentive.

The only complaint, there were 3 weddings while we stayed there and it took a long time to get the elevator. Overall, it was nice. The hotel is near restaurants, a mall and shopping plazas.

Three weeks ago we were shocked with how dreadful the Crowne Plaza has become. We were told in no uncertain terms (rude) we could not use our Priority Club for points because we used Expedia. There was no shampoo in our room. I went to desk to ask for shampoo and was rudely told they didn't have any. Our shower included standing in water past your ankles because the tub didn't drain. We could hear voices from next door like they were in our room talking to us. 1:47AM someone throws something against wall and then yelling back and forth. Called the front desk to hear justification "probably the wedding party". The Breakfast Buffet was not up to par; plastic scrambled eggs, greasy bacon, warmed over dry potatoes, stale bagels, breads & pastries, and room temperature cut "fresh?" fruit. We had four couples staying at the Crowne Plaza and everyone had similar complains and vowed to never return.

The hotel and room was clean. Room amenties restocked when empty. The manager seemed to be around in the lobby always talking to people and asking if everything was okay which was a nice touch.
Food was okay and expensive - but what hotel food isn't? We only ate in the restaurant on the night of our arrival. We brought bowls and spoons with us and had our own breakfast room service with milk and cereal from conveiently located Walgreens.
The mattress did have a slight slant from too many people sleeping on the same side.
Convenient to mall, Walgreens and Einsteins.
There was a wedding the weekend we stayed there and our room was located near the elevator so there was alot of late night noise but to be fair, not exactly the hotel's fault.

My husband and I stayed a week. The staff was always very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very nice. The bed was very spacious and comfortable, there was ample closet space and the bath was very nice and clean. The high speed internet was excellent. The location was so convenient for us, as we have family in Bethel Park, Bridgeville and Mt. Lebanon. The shopping is excellent and extremely convenient, as the mall is within walking distance. There's an Einstein's bagel shop across the street, a PJ's restaurant in the hotel, and many nice restaurants located nearby, including DiBlasio's, Delallo's, an Olive Garden and a TGIF's, just to name a few. The fitness center and pool are very nice.

Booked the hotel for 1 night using hotline.com and the entertainment 2010 coupon book for an additional discount on the Hot Rates for a hotel in a general area but not named until you reserved it ($72 Hot Rate/Hotwire.com with a $15 rebate which covered the taxes & fees).

Spent the day driving & moving someone from out-of-state so when we got to the hotel at 9pm we were very tired. No problem with the pre-paid reservation but during check-in we weren't offered a choice of beds. No problem this time but if we were just visiting, then I would have requested a specific bed choice as the hotel parking lot seemed about 2/3 full.

Room was a double queen that was in very good condition. Elevators worked and the corridors were well-lit & clean. Bathroom was mold-free with nice amenities. Paper was delivered to your door in the morning.

I did not go to the restaurant but it seemed nicely appointed and had a small crowd in there during that later dinner time.

I would rate this a positive experience and would definitely stay there again.
