Resrvations for a six-night stay involving a wedding were made in December 2010 for the June 2011 stay. The reserations clerk for Crowne Plaza Hotels stated it would be necessary to make three separate reservations becausse of the different rated that applied to the necessary handicap accessible room due to the different rates applied to the spread of dates. Not to worry, he said, my concern for room confusion would be taken care of.
On check-in, the desk person informed us that rtoom changes during the six-day stay were indicated in the reservations, leading to major confusion at the desk. Fortunately, General Manager Bryan Welty was promptly called and in a ahort time all was settled admirably. He and the entire staff were outstanding in their courtesy and service. The handicap accessible room was roomy and excellent. Great thanks to Mr. Welty in promptly correcting what coud have been a serious situation.More
